Every big idea starts small. For me, Drinkzy began as a simple thought: what if there was an easy way to remember the drinks you’ve tried? Not just wine tastings or cocktails, but everything — beers, rums, teas, even the random discoveries you stumble across on travels or nights out.
At first, it was just a side project. A place to log drinks, give them a quick rating, and keep a personal record. No fancy features, no big vision — just curiosity. But the more I worked on it, the more I realized something bigger was happening.

The Bigger Vision 🌍
What started with me forgetting rums at parties is now growing into something global. From a tamarind refresher in Santo Domingo to a cold brew in Amsterdam, to that neon cocktail on a rooftop in Barcelona — Drinkzy is building a flavor passport for the world.
I’m an island-born creator who loves building cool stuff (and sipping even cooler drinks). But the story of Drinkzy? That’s something we’re writing together — with every new log, every shared sip, every memory captured!
From First Sip to First Log
In the early version, Drinkzy could only do the basics:
Rate it
See your own list
It was simple, but it worked. Friends started testing it and immediately saw the potential. They loved the idea of creating a personal log — a flavor memory bank that grows with every sip.
Why Drinkzy Matters
Drinks aren’t just liquids in a glass. They’re memories, stories, and connections. The rum you tried at a party in Martinique. The strange purple punch in Peru. The overproof Barceló Añejo shot you’ll never forget in Barcelona.
With Drinkzy, these moments don’t disappear — they become part of your personal flavor passport. And the best part? You share the journey with a community of explorers doing the same.
The Road Ahead
Right now, Drinkzy is still small — just a handful of early users testing, logging, and shaping the experience. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting: we’re building this together, sip by sip.
Even with just a few logs, the vision started to take shape. Emojis and taste sliders made rating fun. A simple feed brought those moments to life. Profiles became more than just lists — they turned into personal taste diaries, snapshots of each user’s unique flavor journey.
And we’re only getting started. The bigger dreams are already on the horizon: a Global Flavor Map to see what the world is sipping, a badge system to gamify exploration, and new ways to make Drinkzy more social and shareable.
If you’re reading this now, you’re still early. You’re not just a user — you’re a pioneer helping to shape the future of Drinkzy. Every log you add, every rating you share, makes the platform better for everyone who comes next.
